Raphael Hubner is a contemporary artist and investigator of the male figure. He has worked in various mediums throughout his career including drawing, printmaking, installation and performance. His work engages with identity, desire, relationship, memory and visibility. He creates personal narratives, translated through the lens of his experiencies as a queer man in South America. His drawings capture expressive figures, energy and vitality on works of precise control. Devoid of ornamentation, they are instead simple and spontaneous; minimal, yet compelling. You can find his works at Brasil art exhibitions and in the homes of collectors around the world.
